1 1/8" x 400mm Round Bar - EN3B Mild Steel

Round Bar, also known as Metal Rod, has a variety of uses within a wide range of industries. Most commonly used within manufacturing, engineering, and construction, use often varies depending on material. We stock Round Bar in a variety of metals, including stainless steel, mild steel, silver steel, aluminium, and brass, all available in both metric and imperial diameters as well as an array of lengths.

This Round Bar is made from EN3B Mild Steel. EN3B Mild Steel is a bright mild steel and has a low carbon content, it is good for general machining and is generally used in applications that arent heavily stressed. EN3B is a general purpose grade of steel & is suitable for welding and can also be case hardened. EN3B is also known as BS 970 070M20.
