2.5mm x 40mm Split Cotter Pins (DIN 94) - A2 Stainless Steel

Split Pins, also known as Cotter Pins, are designed to secure a nut, bolt or shaft in position. The U-Shaped Pin is inserted into a pre-drilled hole, and is then split at the ends, locking the fastener into place and making it impervious to vibrations, tightening or loosening. Split Cotter Pins are commonly used alongside castle nuts. For the best result, it is suggested that when using Split Cotter Pins, the legs are bent tight against the fastener.

These Split Cotter Pins are made from A2 Stainless Steel which provides corrosion and oxidation resistance.
