Their Hexagonal Head allows for a great amount of torque to be applied to this screw making them ideal in heavy duty applications. Hexagon Setscrews, have a fully threaded shaft, right up to the head, whereas Hexagon Bolts are only partially threaded and after a certain length, will have a section of plain unthreaded shaft.
