Captive Screws
Captive screws are an engineered class of fastener designed for a permanent hold (captivation) within a target assembly or housing, including upon servicing. They provide a secure joining, and avoid fastener loss or damage which might be caused by a loose part.
We manufacture all of our captive screws in-house thereby ensuring a high quality product. We take a standard fastener and, using our state-of-the-art CNC machines, manufacture these fasteners into captive screws. Captive screws are available in metric and imperial thread types from M1.6 thread diameter upwards. They are also available in various head-types such as socket cap head, socket countersunk, pozidriv pan head, etc. and in various materials such as A2 stainless steel, brass or A4 stainless steel.
