M5 x 40mm Hex Pin Countersunk Security Screws - A2 Stainless Steel

Hex Pin Countersunk Security Screws, also known as Pin Hex, feature a flat countersunk head and an internal hexagon pin socket drive. The hexagon pin drive allows for force to be more evenly distributed whilst tightening. This means a higher level of torx can be applied to the fixture and also reduces the chances of cam-out, which may cause damage to the screw drive.

The internal pin drive adds a level of security to these screws, as a standard hexagon socket bit cannot be inserted. These security screws must instead be paired with a security drill bit, resulting in a tamper-proof fastening.

These Hexagon Pin Countersunk Security Screws are made from A2 Stainless Steel which provides corrosion and oxidation resistance.
