5-Lobe Pin Button Head Security Screws, successor to the Resistorx, feature a flat countersunk head and an internal 5-lobe pin socket drive instead of 6 providing a higher level of security. The 5-Lobe Pin security drive offers an improved tamper resistance compared to the more commonly available 6-Lobe Pin drive; as the tooling is more specialised and as a result harder for members of the general public to get hold of. The self-tapping tip is designed to be used with pre-drilled pilot holes into which the screw will tap its own threads.

The internal 5-lobe pin drive adds a level of security to these screws, as a standard torx bit & 6-lobe pin cannot be inserted. These security screws must instead be paired with a security drill bit, resulting in a tamper-proof fastening.

These 5-Lobe Pin Countersunk Head Security Screws are made from A4 Stainless Steel which provides corrosion and oxidation resistance as well as increased resistance in harsh chemical and outdoor environments.
