Stainless Steel Fasteners
All parts are manufactured from 303 stainless steel, these fasteners are CNC Machined and threads are rolled.
303 stainless steel has a minimum chromium content of 16.5% and contains elements of carbon, molybdenum, silicon, phosphorus, sulphur, nickel, manganese and iron, all of which add properties of formability, strength, weldability and enhanced corrosion resistance.
Our fasteners are highly polished to a mirror-like finish which increased the naturally occurring protective chromium oxide later which forms on stainless steel.
Typical Applications include: Motorsport, Marine engineering, food storage facilities, subsea, medial components and areas of chemical exposure
Type 303 stainless steel is an alloy which is the most readily machinable austenitic stainless steel available today. This is due to the presence of sulphur in the material composition although improved machinability is at a cost - the sulphur content results in a decrease in corrosion resistance and also a slight lowering in toughness. But as with most austenitic grades the toughness is still excellent. Weldability of the alloy is poor. Type 303 is used in a variety of engineering industries.

We developed our unique process of colouring stainless steel fasteners back in 2010 - GWR Colourfast®. We can colour any stainless steel fastener or component in six different colours - red, blue, green, black, brass and copper.
